Customer Service Advisor – Logistics (Birmingham)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Customer Service Advisors to join a leading logistics client at Hams Hall, Birmingham. This agency‑based position offers a pathway to a permanent role after a successful trial period and involves supporting hospitality partners such as hotels, bars, and restaurants.

Key responsibilities

• Provide telephone and email support to UK clients, delivering delivery updates and resolving issues.
• Handle complaints, shortages, damages and feedback in a professional manner.
• Use internal systems to record interactions and track resolutions.
• Collaborate with site leads and internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year recent experience in a call‑centre or office‑based customer service role.
• Strong, friendly telephone manner and fluent English.
• Reliable work history and ability to travel to Hams Hall (limited public transport).
• Willingness to work within the alcohol‑related hospitality sector.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn proprietary in‑house systems.

What we offer

• Hourly rate £12.74, rising to £12.87 after 12 weeks.
• 40 hours per week, rotating day shifts (07:00‑18:30) with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch.
