About the role
The NHS Scotland is seeking a part‑time General Porter (CAP) to support the smooth operation of hospital services. The role involves a mix of portering, security assistance, emergency response support and car‑parking duties, contributing to a safe and professional environment for patients, visitors and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out portering duties across the hospital, including moving equipment, supplies and waste.
- Provide support for security, emergency response and car‑parking management to ensure a safe environment.
- Promote a professional image for the department and assist with patient and visitor services.
Required profile
- Current membership of the PVG Scheme (or willingness to obtain it) for the relevant regulatory group.
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom and ability to meet immigration requirements.
