Customer Service Co-ordinator (New Build & Aftercare)

About the role

Are you a customer service professional with a passion for excellence and a keen eye for detail? Places for People is looking for a dedicated Customer Service Co-ordinator to act as the primary point of contact, guiding our clients through their journey with empathy and expertise.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer support via email and telephone, serving as the friendly and helpful voice of the company.
• Manage the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring all inquiries are handled professionally and efficiently.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and escalate complex complaints to the appropriate channels when necessary.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain high standards of service in line with the new build sector requirements, specifically regarding aftercare and warranty defects.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience within a housing association, homebuilder, or a PLC environment.
• Strong knowledge of the new build sector, specifically regarding aftercare processes and warranty defect management.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work with site visits to Truro or Exeter.
• Must be able to pass a basic DBS check.
