Customer Service Representative

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a growing construction business in Scunthorpe. You will be the first point of contact for customers, guiding them from initial enquiry through to after‑care, ensuring a smooth ordering process and high satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quotations and take orders over the phone and email.
• Enter orders into the system and coordinate with couriers and external partners to ensure timely delivery.
• Handle a variety of customer queries, offering consultative advice and identifying upsell opportunities.
• Promote relevant products and services that best meet customer needs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales administration, order processing, or customer service.
• Excellent verbal communication and confident telephone manner.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational abilities.
• Passionate about delivering high‑quality customer care.
• Team‑player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
