Cyber Security Analyst – NCSC (Manchester)

About the role
The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join its Manchester team. You will work at the heart of the UK’s cyber defence, collaborating with industry, intelligence partners and law‑enforcement to protect the nation from sophisticated cyber threats.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse cyber‑threat data to develop evidence‑based guidance for UK and international stakeholders.
- Identify patterns, intent and capabilities of hostile actors across a range of sectors.
- Contribute to projects in an Agile environment, delivering insight on adversary tactics, techniques and procedures.
- Produce briefings and reports that inform defensive strategies and policy decisions.
Required profile
- Degree (minimum 2:2) in a STEM subject or equivalent technical experience.
- Strong analytical mindset with a genuine enthusiasm for learning about cyber threats.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate complex findings clearly.
