Cyber Security Engineer – Relocate to Cayman Islands

About the role

This full‑time position is based in George Town, Grand Cayman, offering a qualified cybersecurity professional the chance to relocate to a tax‑free Caribbean environment. You will join a global Security Operations team supporting critical systems, cloud infrastructure, and fund administration platforms for a respected international financial services organization.

Key responsibilities

• Security monitoring and detection engineering
• Incident response and threat hunting
• Security automation and scripting
• Collaboration across cloud, identity, application, and network security functions
• Participation in a 24×7 on‑call rotation

Required profile

• 5+ years of progressive information security experience
• Industry‑recognized certification (ISACA, ISC2, GIAC, or equivalent)
• Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience
• Experience with detection engineering, incident response, KQL/Sigma, and security automation
• Strong knowledge of Azure and Windows security environments
• Willingness to relocate to the Cayman Islands
