Daily Supply Teacher (Secondary Schools)

About the role
Reed is looking for qualified Daily Supply Teachers to provide short‑term cover in secondary schools across West Sussex and Surrey. This flexible position allows you to step into a variety of classrooms, delivering pre‑planned lessons while adapting to each school's unique environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons across multiple subjects in secondary school settings.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse student groups.
- Provide feedback on student performance and report any notable incidents.
- Collaborate with existing teaching staff and adhere to school policies and guidelines.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching in secondary schools.
- Strong classroom management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and flexible approach to teaching assignments.
Required skills
- Ability to deliver curriculum content effectively.
