Daily Supply Teaching Assistant – Flexible Work in Southeast London

About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to provide daily supply cover across primary schools in Southeast London. This temporary, term‑time role offers flexible days and an immediate start, allowing you to gain valuable classroom experience while fitting work around your availability.
Key responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group assistance to pupils.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Support pupils with varying abilities and additional needs.
- Encourage pupil confidence, engagement and academic progress.
Required profile
- Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or youth‑work setting.
- Positive, enthusiastic and flexible attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
