Data Analyst – 3‑Month Contract (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join the Compliance Reporting & Quality Assurance team within Defra Group Property. The role is a three‑month hybrid contract (three days on‑site in Manchester) supporting senior compliance managers by monitoring, testing and reporting on supplier performance across multi‑million‑pound facilities‑management contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Agree a regular programme of meetings with suppliers to review delivery, benefits realisation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure the CAFM system meets contractual and ICF performance‑reporting requirements.
• Analyse data to identify trends, capture successes, highlight customer concerns and recommend actions.
• Maintain data accuracy for presentation at national, agency, regional and site levels.
• Source, coordinate and manage data capture processes and develop data‑handling policies.
• Design and build dashboards or other analytical products to communicate complex analysis.
• Support the production of monthly and annual Quality Assurance reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical data interpretation, management and handling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong IT‑based presentation ability.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Excel, Forms, Power BI, Power Automate and CAFM systems.
• Background in facilities‑management or estates‑focused service delivery environments.
• Strong customer‑service and relationship‑management capabilities.
