Data Analyst

About the role

Express Solicitors is seeking a Data Analyst to join the team in Sharston, Manchester. Reporting to the Head of Department, you will support the business by producing accurate business information reports and dashboards, both on a regular schedule and on demand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, produce and distribute reports and dashboards within agreed service level agreements.
• Contribute to the firm’s data strategy and help shape reporting standards.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to gather MI requirements and deliver relevant insights.
• Analyse data proactively to identify actionable recommendations.
• Provide guidance on interpreting reports, dashboards and analytical findings.
• Query various databases using SQL, T‑SQL and other query languages.

Required profile

• Experience handling data in a commercial environment.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced setting.
• Strong stakeholder relationship skills.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Relevant degree is desirable but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.
• Advanced SQL and T‑SQL query writing.
• Proficiency with Python or similar coding languages (preferred).
