Technical Lead – Full Stack Java

About the role

Our client, a national technology company, is seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong Java expertise to drive high‑quality engineering across a modern, scalable software platform. This full‑stack leadership role works in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and offers hybrid working with two office days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Define solution architecture together with the Head Architect and present architectural approaches to fellow Technical Leads.
• Produce high‑level documentation for agreed technical implementations and participate in design workshops, solution design sessions and peer code reviews.
• Write high‑quality, well‑tested production code, refactor legacy components and apply best‑practice development techniques, including design patterns and coding standards.
• Contribute to user story creation, acceptance criteria, estimation and testing, and fully engage in agile ceremonies such as planning, stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Java professional with deep expertise in Java Spring, micro‑services architecture and event‑driven systems using Kafka.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB and modern observability tooling.
• Solid grounding in design patterns, Domain‑Driven Design and front‑end development, preferably React.js.
• Exceptional communication, proactive ownership, transparency and a solution‑focused mindset.
