Data Labeling Expert (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Data Labeling Expert to work remotely with our AI infrastructure team. You will annotate PDF documents to help train machine‑learning models that extract structured information from complex files.

Key responsibilities

• Draw precise bounding boxes around entities such as text, tables, figures, captions, headers and key‑value pairs in PDF documents.
• Classify annotated elements according to detailed project guidelines.
• Ensure bounding boxes are tight, accurate and maintain correct reading order.
• Handle complex layouts including multi‑column text, forms, tables and rotated pages.
• Follow annotation instructions consistently and flag ambiguous cases for review.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data‑security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any field (technology, engineering or data‑related preferred).
• 6 months to 2 years of experience in data annotation or similar roles (optional but advantageous).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex guidelines.
• Basic understanding of document structures such as text blocks, tables and forms.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining high accuracy.

Required skills

• Experience with PDF annotation tools or platforms.
• Data annotation and labeling techniques.
