Data Modeller – VP & AVP (Financial Services)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading global corporate bank to hire two senior Data Modellers – one at AVP level and one at VP level – within its expanding Data Architecture function. The roles are hands‑on, focusing on creating conceptual and logical enterprise data models that underpin a major data platform across Operations and Front Office domains.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop conceptual and logical enterprise data models supporting the bank’s data platform.
• Collaborate directly with business SMEs and technology stakeholders to translate services and processes into clear data models.
• Manage model change, versioning, and release processes while ensuring governance and standards compliance.
• For the VP role, coordinate the modelling pipeline, set priorities, and oversee governance of modelling activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in conceptual and logical data modelling and entity‑relationship design.
• Hands‑on work with business SMEs and technology teams in a banking or financial‑services environment.
• Familiarity with data‑modelling tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio or IDA Model and with version/release management.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as BIAN, DPM, IBM BFMDW, FSLDM or BIRD is advantageous.
