About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a world‑leading in‑house Risk & Compliance team in London. The role sits within the General Counsel function and will influence the firm’s data‑privacy strategy across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead global data‑privacy initiatives, including risk assessments for new systems and AI tools.
• Collaborate with IT Security, Procurement and senior business managers to devise practical data‑protection solutions.
• Develop and maintain privacy frameworks, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
• Provide expert advice on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.
• Support audit processes and deliver education initiatives for stakeholders across regions.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with experience in data‑privacy and protection law.
• Proven ability to work across jurisdictions and advise senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to regulatory change.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of GDPR and other international data‑privacy regimes.
• Experience conducting privacy impact assessments.
• Familiarity with AI‑related data‑privacy challenges.
