Datacentre Operations Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a technically‑focused Datacentre Operations Engineer to run on‑site operations for Radiant’s new East London AI‑infrastructure site. The role combines hands‑on deployment, proactive maintenance and rapid incident response for high‑density, air‑cooled compute systems supporting AI and HPC workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and network issues, execute structured fault isolation and respond to critical alerts.
• Deploy, maintain and break/fix high‑density GPU/CPU platforms, including NVIDIA B300‑class chassis, firmware updates and component replacement.
• Operate and monitor air‑cooling infrastructure (CRAC/CRAH, in‑row containment, busbar power distribution) and ensure thermal performance.
• Manage capacity records, support asset lifecycle in the CMDB and handle RMAs within service level objectives.
• Participate in 24×7×365 shift rotation, apply ITSM processes and contribute to incident post‑mortems and automation.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or 5+ years of relevant data‑centre operations experience.
• 3+ years operating HPC or high‑density GPU environments with strong communication skills in English.

• ITSM frameworks – Incident, Major Incident, Change Management.
