DB Pensions Technical Associate

About the role

We are seeking a DB Pensions Technical Associate to join a leading pensions provider. The role focuses on technical analysis, data migration and complex pension calculations within a hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage data transfer and migration projects for defined benefit pension schemes.
• Develop and maintain pension calculation pro‑formas.
• Perform data transformation and ensure data integrity throughout migration processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver accurate pension valuations.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in pensions or BPA industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in defined benefit pension schemes – non‑negotiable.
• Proven experience creating and developing pension calculation pro‑formas.
• Strong commitment to professional development and teamwork.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel VBA proficiency.
• SQL knowledge for data manipulation (preferred, not mandatory).
• Understanding of GMP Equalisation.
• Experience with data migration, transfer and transformation.
• Pension calculations expertise.
