Dealer Services Agent – Financial Services

About the role

The Dealer Services Agent will join the financial services hub in Manchester, supporting the automotive finance business across Europe. You will assess creditworthiness for both personal and commercial vehicle financing, working closely with dealers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analysis of commercial clients, reviewing statements, credit reports, business plans and industry data.
• Make lending decisions in line with the company’s credit policy, risk appetite and regulatory guidelines.
• Respond to dealer queries on credit applications, processes and policies via phone, email and other channels.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, collections and external brokers to gather information and communicate underwriting outcomes.
• Ensure all underwriting activities comply with legal, regulatory and internal policy requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of underwriting processes and policies.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial information.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with dealers, internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Attention to detail and a solid understanding of credit risk principles.
• Ability to work five days a week on‑site in Manchester and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Competitive rate of £17.46 per hour via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35).
