Delivery Analyst – Agile Business Applications

About the role

We are supporting a forward‑thinking professional services organisation that is investing heavily in its technology and delivery capabilities. As a Delivery Analyst you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the Applications team, turning ideas into clear, actionable deliverables and guiding them through to release.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for incoming business requests.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
• Manage and prioritise the product backlog in partnership with key stakeholders.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Coordinate dependencies across multiple teams and track delivery progress using metrics like velocity and sprint health.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues and blockers, ensuring transparent communication.
• Utilise Azure DevOps (or similar) to plan, track and report work.
• Organise and oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and support release planning and post‑release activities.
• Promote a minimum lovable product mindset focused on delivering real user value.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in delivery, business analysis, product or scrum‑related roles.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience supporting sprint delivery.
• Proven ability to write clear user stories and define acceptance criteria.
• Experience coordinating UAT and working with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate between business and technical teams.
• Strong organisational skills with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
• Desirable: Agile or business analysis certifications (e.g., Scrum, PSM, CSM, SAFe, BCS) and experience in professional services environments.
