Design Engineer – Structures

About the role

As a Design Engineer – Structures you will take ownership of detailed structural design aligned with project programmes, collaborating closely with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration across the project team. You will work on a diverse portfolio that includes commercial developments, mixed‑use schemes and data‑centre projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structural surveys and desk studies, providing initial technical advice.
• Prepare conceptual and outline designs with support from senior team members.
• Develop detailed design calculations in accordance with Eurocodes and relevant guidance.
• Use 3D software packages to produce models, drawings and design documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and other engineers to integrate structural solutions.
• Contribute to commercial, mixed‑use and data‑centre projects throughout all design stages.

Required profile

• Experience working on commercial developments, mixed‑use schemes and data‑centre projects.
