DevOps Engineer (AWS, GitLab CI/CD) – London/Remote

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a fast‑growing commodities trading firm operating in the fintech space. You will own the AWS cloud infrastructure and drive automation across CI/CD pipelines, working closely with software engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain AWS cloud services for production workloads.
• Build and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Containerise applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
• Continuously seek automation opportunities and act as the AWS/DevOps subject‑matter expert.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure reliable and scalable releases.

Required profile

• Strong, hands‑on experience with AWS services.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes and GitLab CI/CD.
• Ability to script/automate using Python, Kotlin or TypeScript.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• STEM degree with a 2.1 or higher classification.
