DevOps Engineer – Cloud & On-Premise Infrastructure

About the role

We are partnering with a UK‑based conservation charity to build and maintain robust infrastructure for a portfolio of web applications. The role combines hands‑on work with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and on‑premise systems, ensuring reliable, secure production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, manage and evolve infrastructure for multiple web applications.
• Operate both cloud (Azure, AWS) and on‑premise environments.
• Maintain reliable and secure production systems, including monitoring and incident response.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Manage databases, backups and disaster‑recovery processes.

Required profile

• Experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and tools.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of containerisation technologies.
• Ability to collaborate with developers to improve delivery and operations.
