DevOps / Platform Engineer

About the role

Neat is seeking a highly motivated technology enthusiast to join its Cambridge team. You will help build and scale the cloud management platform that powers Neat’s hybrid office solutions, working on everything from infrastructure to developer tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines.
• Develop and maintain containerised services using Docker and Kubernetes/Helm.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and support cloud deployment and networking (Azure experience a plus).
• Integrate databases and other data‑storage technologies.
• Implement automated testing frameworks, metrics, monitoring and security controls.
• Set up and maintain continuous integration systems.
• Contribute to performance, high‑availability engineering and incident response.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of hands‑on experience with at least some of the listed technologies.
• Strong passion for technology and problem‑solving.
• Ability to design robust, scalable tech stacks.
• Eagerness to learn from senior engineers and collaborate across the team.
