Director - Derivatives Valuation Business Development

About the role

The Derivatives Data and Valuation Services group is seeking a Director to lead Business Development for its valuation products. You will act as the bridge between market needs and product teams, shaping service direction, driving growth, and delivering new solutions to asset managers, banks and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Develop business plans and sales campaigns for valuation services.
• Collaborate with clients as design partners to build new products and services.
• Conduct client and prospect outreach through meetings, conferences, webinars and round‑tables.
• Produce thought‑leadership content such as industry articles and blog posts.
• Work with sales on product commercialization, fee structures and licensing.
• Create marketing collateral, sales presentations and respond to RFPs.
• Perform competitor analysis and act as subject‑matter expert for allocated products.
• Support sales teams with product USPs, pre‑sales questioning and event participation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in capital markets with strong knowledge of derivatives.
• Proven ability to manage complex senior‑level relationships and drive revenue growth.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to translate market needs into product opportunities.
