Director, External Reporting (Vice-President)

About the Role

Join a world-class finance team as a Director within our External Reporting division in Glasgow. In this high-impact Vice-President level position, you will spearhead European statistical reporting and act as a strategic partner to global business units, providing critical insights into the firm's financial and capital resources.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the production of European statistical reporting and regulatory disclosures.
• Manage the preparation and review of regulatory balance sheet disclosures, ensuring strict adherence to risk and compliance standards.
• Act as a key financial partner to global operational units, providing management, analysis, and advisory services regarding financial and capital resources.
• Drive continuous improvement by leading projects related to new regulatory requirements and process optimization.
• Resolve complex data issues and manage responses to regulatory reviews.
• Present high-level disclosures and strategic analyses to senior financial management.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in regulatory reporting, financial analysis, or a similar senior role within a global financial institution.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing both individual deliverables and team-wide processes.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, particularly regarding complex data reconciliation and integrity.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across global finance and group-wide functions.
• High level of professional accountability and attention to detail in high-pressure environments.
