Director, Technology Strategy & Transformation

About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a senior leader to shape and execute its global technology strategy. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Director will guide a team of over 30 professionals in designing, delivering, and evolving digital and data solutions that support the organization’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Transformation Delivery to define technology components of the transformation portfolio, including scoping, budgeting, and planning.
• Develop and maintain multi‑year product roadmaps for core systems, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with strategic standards.
• Provide technical ownership of core data, reporting, and integration platforms.
• Lead technology architecture and design activities to meet business requirements.
• Manage an annual budget of $2.5 million+ and oversee global delivery across multiple offices.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large technology teams (30+ members) in a global or multinational environment.
• Strong background in technology strategy, architecture, and data integration.
• Demonstrated ability to work with senior stakeholders, functional business teams, vendors, and IT groups.
• Fluent English and right to work in the country of the assigned office.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% internationally.
