Senior Machine Learning Engineer I

About the role

Join the AI Platform team at LexisNexis Intellectual Property Solutions to design and deliver AI capabilities that power flagship analytics products. You will work across the full development lifecycle, from evaluating emerging technologies to building scalable, cost‑efficient production services.

Key responsibilities

• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies for customer‑facing features.
• Design and build agentic AI systems and AI‑powered product capabilities.
• Develop reusable frameworks for evaluating AI quality, safety and performance.
• Build scalable, high‑performance, cost‑efficient services on AWS.
• Mentor junior developers and promote test‑driven development with pytest.

Required profile

• Experience with modern Python codebases and cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and delivery processes.
• Hands‑on experience with generative and agentic AI systems.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with Azure Pipelines and Terraform is desirable.
