Document Production Specialist – Evening Shift

About the role

This position is for a Document Production Specialist working the evening shift (3 pm‑10 pm) on a 30‑hour week. The role is fully remote, but occasional training sessions may require travel to Manchester, Leeds or London. It offers a starting salary of £28,000, increasing to £30,000 after successful probation.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritise work requests, including audio transcription of legal recordings.
• Apply tracked changes, autonumbering, and repair corrupted files.
• Manage document templates and perform red‑line strike‑outs.
• Create notes, reports, and transcripts of interviews, hearings, and conferences.
• Produce and amend legal documents quickly and accurately.
• Edit, reformat, and ensure documents meet deadline requirements.
• Perform additional administrative duties as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in document production within a legal environment, or recent experience in a law firm handling document production.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
