Driver Cleaner – Temporary (Manchester)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Driver Cleaner to support a leading social housing contractor across Manchester. This temporary position combines driving duties with a range of cleaning tasks in occupied and void properties.

Key responsibilities

• Clean communal areas, stairwells, entrances, corridors, lifts and bin stores in residential blocks and housing schemes.
• Perform internal and external cleaning, remove litter and fly‑tipped waste.
• Assist with void property cleans before new tenants move in.
• Drive a company vehicle safely between multiple sites.
• Report maintenance issues, health and safety concerns, or anti‑social behaviour.
• Ensure all work meets high standards and complies with health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Previous cleaning experience in social housing, facilities management or commercial environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
