Educational Psychologist – Locum (Face-to-Face)

About the role
We are partnering with local authorities across London to provide experienced Educational Psychologists for face-to-face locum assignments. The role involves delivering high-quality psychological assessments directly to children, families and schools, helping to shape effective educational interventions.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct face-to-face psychological assessments in line with EHCP requirements.
- Observe children and young people within educational settings.
- Produce clear, evidence-based written reports with practical recommendations.
- Collaborate with schools, SEN teams and families to gather information and provide feedback.
- Apply psychological frameworks to understand learning, behaviour and emotional needs.
- Manage a personal caseload and meet agreed deadlines.
Required profile
- HCPC registration.
- Proven experience completing statutory assessments and providing EP advice for EHCPs.
- Strong report writing and communication abilities.
- Ability to build rapport quickly in face-to-face settings.
