Electrical Installation Lecturer / Course Leader

About the role

Join a well‑established Further Education College in the Greater Manchester area as an Electrical Installation Lecturer. You will lead and inspire learners across Level 1‑3 programmes, delivering industry‑relevant teaching and supporting apprenticeships.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and industry‑relevant teaching in Electrical Installation (Level 1‑3).
• Support apprenticeships and full‑time learners in achieving their qualifications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality assurance processes.
• Work closely with employers and industry partners to enhance learner progression.
• Provide pastoral and academic support to learners.

Required profile

• A strong background in Electrical Installation with relevant industry experience.
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
• Assessor and/or IQA qualifications desirable.
• Experience delivering within Further Education or apprenticeship settings.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of current electrical regulations and practices.
• Ability to lead a course area and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
