Electrical Project Manager / Contracts Manager

About the role

Our client in Manchester is looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Contracts Manager to lead multiple electrical projects from design through to delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Produce, review, and amend electrical designs and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and reporting.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and enforce health & safety compliance.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years’ experience in Electrical Project Management or Contracts Management.
• Level 4 NVQ (Electrical or related discipline) or equivalent.
• Strong background in electrical design and technical drawings.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Based in or commutable to Manchester.
