Electrical Shift Engineer – Multi‑Skilled (London)

About the role

We are seeking a multi‑skilled Electrical Shift Engineer to join a major facilities management provider on a large, static site in East London. The role covers both day and night shifts, offering a competitive salary of £52‑£54k plus overtime and opportunities for further training and progression.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) of electrical and mechanical systems, including lighting, power distribution and HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faults on control panels, motors, pumps and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Perform electrical installations, modifications and upgrades in line with BS7671 (17th/18th Edition) standards.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in electrical installations.
• 17th or 18th Edition certification.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
• Willingness to work flexible day and night shift patterns.
