Project Manager – Residential Construction Consultancy

About the role

This position offers the chance to join a market‑leading property and construction consultancy renowned for delivering substantial residential and regeneration projects across London and the South East. You will manage your own portfolio of new‑build residential schemes from pre‑construction through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Project manage major new‑build residential developments.
• Program, plan and monitor projects through to completion.
• Work with JCT Design & Build contracts and Development Agreements.
• Chair project and progress meetings.
• Coordinate clients, contractors, consultants and wider project teams.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, programme, budget and risk.
• Undertake site visits and produce regular reports.
• Review valuations and project financial information.
• Manage risks across pre‑construction and live projects.
• Provide technical and project advice to clients throughout the development process.

Required profile

• Proven experience in client‑side project management of residential developments.
• Background in new‑build affordable housing, S106, land‑led or regeneration projects.
• Familiarity with JCT Design & Build contracts and Development Agreements.
• Ability to manage contractors and consultant teams effectively.
• Experience working directly with housing associations, local authorities and other residential clients.
