Electrician – Digital Solutions (North England)

About the role

We are seeking an Electrician to join our Digital Solutions team, based in Newcastle and surrounding areas. This is a mobile, on‑site role covering the north of England, offered on a permanent contract. No sponsorship is available for this position.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Electrical Test and Inspection works and undertake fault diagnosis.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance on telecommunication infrastructure as part of reactive and follow‑up programmes.
• Conduct site surveys and participate in joint site meetings.
• Contribute to coaching and mentoring programmes to develop emerging talent.
• Participate in the emergency standby rota.

Required profile

• Previous electrical experience with a Level 2 & 3 Diploma (18th Edition) and 2391 Test and Inspection, gained through an apprenticeship.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel across the north of England.

Required skills

• Electrical testing and inspection (BS 7671 compliance).
• Fault diagnosis on telecom infrastructure.
• Maintenance and repair of telecommunication equipment.
• Ability to work safely on rooftops and in RF environments.
