About the role

We are seeking an experienced Employment Barrister to join our Manchester office. The role involves full‑time advocacy on employment matters for a diverse client base across the private and public sectors.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct advocacy in all areas of employment‑related litigation, including Employment Tribunal proceedings.
  • Lead the internal advocacy team and mentor junior members.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships across a growing portfolio.

Required profile

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in employment law.
  • Proven track record of successful advocacy in Employment Tribunals.
  • Experience in mentoring or developing junior team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.

Required skills

  • Outstanding advocacy and negotiation abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
