Enterprise Financing Manager

About the role

Near East Foundation is seeking an Enterprise Financing Manager to lead the execution and scaling of its global Enterprise Financing Platform. Based in London, the role combines hands‑on platform building with strategic financing structuring to deliver impact‑driven capital in fragile and underserved markets.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and scale a decentralized enterprise financing platform using blended finance, outcome‑based instruments, revolving and evergreen funds, guarantees, first‑loss structures and insurance‑linked mechanisms.
• Translate proven financing models into operational platforms and partner arrangements across multiple countries.
• Design and structure financial products, channels and fund mechanisms aligned with NEF’s design principles.
• Lead fundraising, investor engagement and the preparation of investor‑ready propositions.
• Coordinate with credit and risk officers, finance, program and operations teams to ensure delivery discipline.
• Travel up to 30% to country operations to support local partners and monitor implementation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise finance, investment or structured finance within emerging or crisis‑affected markets.
• Ability to move from financial structuring to practical execution and scaling.
• Strong analytical and financial logic with a focus on inclusive, responsible financing.
• Comfortable working with decentralized partner networks and cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
