Epicor Inventory Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced accountant confident in using the Epicor ERP system. The role suits candidates from manufacturing or engineering backgrounds, though any product‑led industry experience with stock control is welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Optimise finance processes following the recent implementation of Epicor Kinetic.
• Review and enhance existing stock control procedures to increase visibility and reduce costs.
• Create forecasts and budgets based on production plans and bills of materials.
• Produce monthly management reports highlighting variances between forecasts and actuals.
• Work closely with operations to monitor stock takes and improve month‑end efficiency.
• Maintain shipping reports to identify the value of products shipped to customers and consignment stock.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an accountant, preferably within manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non‑finance staff.
• Strong working knowledge of Epicor ERP and stock control procedures.
