ERP Project Planner – 12‑month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

The ERP Project Planner will support the implementation and optimisation of ERP systems for a medium‑sized FMCG organisation in Manchester. This 12‑month fixed‑term position combines strategic planning with hands‑on project execution, ensuring smooth delivery of ERP initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans for ERP implementations and upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and align projects with business objectives.
• Monitor timelines, budgets and resources, reporting progress to stakeholders.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with external vendors and partners to keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain documentation and processes to support future system improvements.
• Facilitate the transition from project delivery to business‑as‑usual operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing ERP‑related projects, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and implementation methodologies.
• Excellent organisational and project‑management abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented with a problem‑solving mindset.

Required skills

• SAP S/4HANA (advantageous, not essential)
