About the role
The Estates Operations Officer will support the Estates Sector Manager in delivering progressive maintenance across NHS Scotland facilities. This role involves overseeing building fabric, engineering services, grounds, and equipment procurement while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Estates Sector Manager in delivering progressive maintenance management across the estate.
- Oversee planned maintenance of building fabric, engineering services, and grounds and gardens.
- Manage procurement and upkeep of associated equipment and minor works projects as directed by the Area Manager Hard FM.
- Ensure effective deployment of directly employed labour and specialist contractors within budgetary constraints.
- Supervise facilities contractors delivering services to maintain service standards.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and service requirements within available resources.
- Develop partnerships with internal and external managers to provide integrated estates management services for each hospital complex.
