Exams Administration Officer – Long‑Term, Inner London

About the role
The school is seeking a reliable Exams Administration Officer to join its team from September on a long‑term basis. You will support the planning, organisation and delivery of both internal and external examinations in a busy mainstream secondary school in an Inner London borough.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare examination timetables and organise exam materials.
- Liaise with invigilators and external examination boards.
- Maintain accurate student records and process examination entries.
- Support results days and the day‑to‑day administration of the examinations function.
- Ensure all examinations comply with JCQ regulations and awarding body requirements.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a school‑based administration or examinations environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication with staff, students, parents and external bodies.
Required skills
- Proficiency with SIMS (School Information Management System).
