About the role
Join Reed Further Education as a part‑time Exams Invigilator in Kingston Upon Thames. You will support learners during examinations, ensuring a smooth and secure testing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and observe students throughout the exam session.
- Set up the examination room, arrange seating, and prepare materials before each exam.
- Distribute additional resources (e.g., answer sheets, calculators) as required.
- Maintain exam conditions in line with regulatory standards.
- Report any irregularities or issues to the exams officer promptly.
Required profile
- GCSE‑level Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Understanding of how examinations are run.
- Clear and effective communication with pupils and staff.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Comfortable with scribing duties during exams.
