EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary academy in North Manchester from September 2026. The role focuses on supporting early years learners, fostering curiosity and confidence through play‑based learning.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum.
• Plan and lead engaging activities that promote early literacy, numeracy and social development.
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce communication and exploration skills.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Support observation, assessment and preparation of learning resources.

Required profile

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience in an EYFS setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework.
• Enthusiastic, caring and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
