Facultative Reinsurance Broker

About the role

Join a fast‑growing international reinsurance brokerage with a strong London presence. As a Facultative Reinsurance Broker you will place complex facultative risks into Lloyd's and global markets, working closely with cedants and underwriters to craft tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Structure and negotiate facultative placements across Property, Business Interruption, P&C and Specialty lines.
• Develop and maintain relationships with cedants, producing brokers and reinsurers.
• Prepare placement slips, MRCs and supporting documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Present detailed submissions to underwriters and manage the end‑to‑end placement process.
• Support retention and growth of existing accounts while generating new business.

Required profile

• Proven experience in facultative reinsurance broking, particularly within Lloyd's and international markets.
• Track record of placing Property and/or broader P&C facultative risks.
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship‑management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Degree in Business, Finance, Insurance or a related field is preferred.
