Field Service Engineer - MFD & Copier Specialist

About the Role

Join NCS, one of the UK's leading office technology providers, as a Field Service Engineer. We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our service team covering East Scotland, ensuring our clients receive world-class technical support and hardware reliability.

Main Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service a wide range of copier and printer products.
• Provide comprehensive maintenance and network support for MFDs (Multi-Function Devices) and photocopiers.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls for technical diagnostics and critical repairs.
• Support regional clients and collaborate with fellow engineers to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while managing on-site technical interventions.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as an Engineer working on MFDs or photocopiers.
• Strong technical background in IT and networking environments.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
• Strong time management abilities and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.
• Must hold a clean driving license (maximum 4 points).

Required Skills

• MFD/Photocopier hardware maintenance and repair.
• IT Networking and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Print Management Solutions (e.g., PaperCut).
• Manufacturer-specific training (Toshiba, Lexmark, Samsung, or Canon is a plus).
• Technical diagnostics and problem-solving.
