Field Service Technician – UK & Ireland

About the role

As the dedicated Field Service Technician for Formlabs, you will be the primary technical point of contact for customers across the UK and Ireland, travelling on‑site to install, train and support cutting‑edge 3D printing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites across the UK & Ireland to install, commission and calibrate 3D printing systems.
• Conduct on‑site training sessions and live product demonstrations for new and existing users.
• Provide rapid‑response break‑fix support, perform preventative maintenance visits and achieve single‑visit resolutions.
• Manage travel logistics, expense reporting and maintain detailed service records in Salesforce.

Required profile

• Based in London, Manchester or Dublin (preferred) and willing to travel 80%+ of the time.
• Strong electromechanical/hardware background with the ability to teach technical concepts.
• Fluent English (C1‑C2) and hold a valid driver’s licence (category B).

Required skills

• Electromechanical troubleshooting and repair of 3D printing equipment.
• Installation, commissioning and calibration of hardware.
• Use of Salesforce for documentation.
