About the role
Mitchell Adam is looking for an ambitious graduate to join its finance team in Birmingham. This full‑time position offers a hands‑on Accounts Assistant experience within a fast‑growing professional services firm.
Key responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices and expense claims.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and cash‑flow monitoring.
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
- Contribute to month‑end close activities and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
- Help produce management accounts and support senior finance staff on projects.
Required profile
- Recent degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a Science‑related discipline.
- Strong analytical ability with meticulous attention to detail.
- Professional, confident communication style.
- Hard‑working attitude, strong work ethic and genuine ambition for a finance career.
