About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Finance Assistant to join our team at Outwood Alternative Provision Eston. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential financial administrative support to the management team, ensuring the smooth running of our daily accounting operations and office functions.

Main Missions

• Perform transactional accounting tasks, including accurate bookkeeping and journal entries.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.
• Manage physical cash collections and facilitate timely bank deposits.
• Coordinate the procurement of goods and supplies, ensuring efficient resource management.
• Process requests from suppliers and budget holders with precision.
• Organize and manage professional travel arrangements for staff members.
• Ensure all financial procedures strictly adhere to statutory guidelines, financial regulations, and Trust policies.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in a similar administrative or junior accounting role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
