Finance Director

About the role

SF Partners is seeking a Finance Director to lead its finance function during a period of rapid growth. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee financial operations and business intelligence, providing the insight and controls needed to support ambitious expansion plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Finance function, including Financial Operations and a team of Business Intelligence Analysts.
• Partner with the Executive team and operational leaders to deliver commercial support and challenge.
• Build a high‑performing analytics capability delivering accurate, real‑time reporting and management information.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and performance analysis.
• Ensure robust financial control, governance and reporting across the organisation.
• Coach and develop finance professionals and BI analysts, fostering continuous improvement.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities through financial and operational data to inform commercial decisions.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience at Finance Director, Head of Finance or Senior Commercial Finance level.
• Proven track record leading a finance function in a fast‑paced, commercially focused business.
• Strong commercial finance and business partnering expertise.
• Experience managing and developing Business Intelligence Analysts and Finance Business Partners.
