Finance Manager – Financial Services (London)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial operations for a respected financial services organisation in London. This temporary, full‑time role will ensure compliance, provide insight and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns, maintaining accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain cash‑flow forecasts, including scenario analysis.
• Produce monthly treasury, liquidity and ad‑hoc reports.
• Deliver monthly project reporting and analysis as required.
• Prepare and post monthly journal entries and support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Partner with business stakeholders to deliver financial insight for strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant or Finalist.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a medium‑to‑large business.
• Strong experience with UK VAT reporting and compliance.
• Proven track record in financial reporting, cash‑flow forecasting and month‑end processes.
• Excellent analytical attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident communicator with stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
