Finance Manager

About the role

ACCIONA INDUSTRIAL UK LIMITED is seeking a Finance Manager for a six‑month fixed‑term contract based at Kelvin Way, West Bromwich (B70 7JR). The role supports the financial management of a large‑scale industrial project, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting and treasury activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and report economic and financial statements reflecting the project’s reality.
• Control budgets, analyse deviations, identify risks and opportunities, and take corrective actions.
• Manage the financial statements and audits of the project’s corporate entities (SPV and Trust) and ensure proper local tax filing.
• Oversee endorsements and guarantees for clients and suppliers.
• Monitor invoicing, collection milestones and cash flow, including treasury management and cash surplus placement.
• Handle accounts payable and supervise accounting functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Financial Manager on high‑value, complex industrial new‑build projects.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost control and financial reporting for major capital projects.
• Ability to operate in complex project environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience at an advanced stage of a major project, capable of identifying financial risks and providing insight for decision‑making.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and stakeholder‑management skills in a fast‑paced, commercially focused setting.
